Civil Operative / Reinstatement Operative

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil operative / Reinstatement operative based from our St Helens depot.

Reporting to the Civils Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and organisation of the reinstatement programme to ensure effective use of direct and sub contract labour.

Main duties will include:

  • Have good knowledge of site safety and site set ups with the public and team members welfare being essential
  • Have knowledge and experience of Reinstatement for Utilities
  • Will maintain a customer focus
  • You need to have good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment
  • To liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude Understanding and complying with regulations including NRSWA

The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills:

  • A good understanding and experience of the Utility industry
  • Previous experience working on Civils related projects
  • NRASWA qualification essential
  • A full and clean driving license
  • A good Awareness of health and safety
  • Computer literate and familiar with basic software packages.
  • Physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions
